Summer Fun

I have been busy working and going to class. I now have 3 weeks between classes, so I thought I would post some things about our summer. We had the 4th annual Kennard 4th of July bar-b-que! It was good food, good friends and great fireworks.

Shane at Soccer

Here is a picture of Shane taking a corner kick for his team. He likes playing soccer and has good ball control. His team is good and has won most of their games. We like that it keeps Shane active and out of trouble!!! He only has a couple of weeks left of soccer and then Baseball season starts. Busy Busy.

Fostering

We are currently fostering a momma daschund and her 5 tiny puppies that were born on April 11, 2006. There are 4 boys and one girl. I will post more pictures as these little ones grow.

More views of Niagra

This is the other falls and a view of Buffalo New York behind the falls. The white stuff on the edge of the water is snow.

Niagra Falls

On March 31, 2006 I got the opportunity to visit Niagra Falls. This is a view from the Canadian Side and is the largest of the 2 falls that make up Niagra Falls. This picture was taken from an observation Tower that is 500 feet above the falls. As you can tell by the roadway the falls are very large! The weather was wonderful that day and I spent most of the day waundering around enjoying the sites!

George Eastman House

This is the George Eastman House in Rochester, New York. I got the pleasure of visiting this beautiful home while I was in Rochester attending a seminar. The inside of this home was as to be expected - BEAUTIFUL.

Shane's Odyssey of the Mind

The boys had to make a machine that could move items from one place to another without a remote. The did not win, but they had a good time and learned a lot.
